About the role
We are seeking an Emergency Department Manager to support patient care services, oversee clinical operations, and ensure quality improvement in the emergency department.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and staff education
- Monitor staff competency and supervise orientation
- Manage adverse event follow-up
- Anticipate staffing needs
- Handle operational activities such as payroll editing and customer service rounds
- Perform delegated tasks
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing
- Active Washington RN license
- 3 years of emergency, trauma, or critical care nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing
- Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC)
- Supervisory experience
