Emergency Services RN Manager

About the role

The Emergency Department Manager supports patient care services, clinical oversight, quality improvement, staff education, and operational activities in a hospital setting. The role assists with staffing needs, supervises staff orientation, monitors adverse events, and performs customer service rounds. Relocation support is offered for eligible hires.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring patient care services.
• Provide clinical oversight and support staff development.
• Supervise staff orientation and competency monitoring.
• Monitor adverse events and quality assurance.
• Manage staffing needs, payroll, and operational tasks.
• Perform customer service rounds and other delegated activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred or in progress.
• Valid RN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum 3 years in emergency, trauma, or critical care nursing.
• Preferred: Master's Degree, ACLS/PALS, TNCC instructor status, supervisory experience.
