Job Summary

As our Nursing Manager, you will lead and empower our nursing team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence. You will guide Registered Nurses, oversee clinical operations, advocate for patient and team needs, drive professional development, and achieve unit goals.

Responsibilities

  • Navigate challenges and ensure individual performance and overall unit success
  • Support and actualize the Division of Nursing philosophy and goals
  • Assume leadership in program development and implementation
  • Develop and implement effective communication channels to provide information to all staff members
  • Facilitate orientation of new employees and evaluate programs affecting employees
  • Conduct unit council meetings monthly, incorporating new knowledge and skills to meet changing needs
  • Have an identified council structure with an elected Staff Nurse Professional Practice Council representative

Requirements

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, 3 years of leadership experience upon hire
  • Masters degree in Nursing or related field, 3 years of leadership experience upon hire
  • Registered Nurse license in Texas upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR certification within 14 days of hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
