Job Summary
As our Nursing Manager, you will lead and empower our nursing team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence. You will guide Registered Nurses, oversee clinical operations, advocate for patient and team needs, drive professional development, and achieve unit goals.
Responsibilities

- Navigate challenges and ensure individual performance and overall unit success
- Support and actualize the Division of Nursing philosophy and goals
- Assume leadership in program development and implementation
- Develop and implement effective communication channels to provide information to all staff members
- Facilitate orientation of new employees and evaluate programs affecting employees
- Conduct unit council meetings monthly, incorporating new knowledge and skills to meet changing needs
- Have an identified council structure with an elected Staff Nurse Professional Practice Council representative
Requirements
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, 3 years of leadership experience upon hire
- Masters degree in Nursing or related field, 3 years of leadership experience upon hire
- Registered Nurse license in Texas upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR certification within 14 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
