About the Role

Provides direct patient care in an emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and patient preferences and barriers.
• Maintain a focus on safety-sensitive work, requiring constant alertness and safe practice.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree.
• Active RN license.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Less than two years of experience required.
• No supervisory experience needed.
