Emergency Room Nurse (Night Shift)

About the role

Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, respecting patient values and barriers to involvement. Maintains alertness and safety in a safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's preferred
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license
• Experience: No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred
