HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking an Emergency Medicine Chief to join their team at HCA Houston Healthcare ER 24/7 (Texas City) - Freestanding Emergency Department.

About the role

Qualified Candidates:

• Board certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine
• 2+ Years leadership experience

Responsibilities

As the Emergency Medicine Chief, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the Emergency Department in providing high-quality patient care
• Overseeing the daily operations of the Emergency Department
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
• Maintaining a positive work environment and fostering a culture of excellence

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• A current license to practice medicine in the state of Texas
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in an Emergency Medicine setting

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience with EMR systems such as Meditech

Pay

The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000 annually.

Schedule

This position offers 12 or 24-hour shifts.
