Job Summary
HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital system is seeking an Associate Chief of Emergency Medicine to join their dynamic team in Panama City, FL.
About the Role
Qualified candidates must be board certified or board eligible (ABEM or AOBEM) in emergency medicine. Leadership experience with similar volume and acuity is considered a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department
- Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure quality patient care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance departmental performance
- Manage the hiring, training, and development of emergency medicine staff
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in emergency medicine
- Extensive experience in emergency medicine
Qualifications
- Leadership experience preferred
- Experience with similar volume and acuity
