Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) / Paramedic

About the role

The Center Medical Specialist performs physical examinations, reviews medical history, and assesses donor suitability at plasma donation centers. They build rapport with donors, ensure confidentiality, provide health education, and counsel on test results. Responsibilities include evaluating donor injuries, managing adverse events, and assisting in employee training and vaccination programs.

• Perform physical exams and health assessments

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed or certified as a Registered Nurse, LPN, Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT per state requirements
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and light lifting
• Good communication, coordination, and observational skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing demands
• Awareness of exposure risks to biological fluids and cold environments, with proper PPE use
