Emergency Department Nurse - Part Time Night Shift

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care, promoting positive outcomes through compassionate and efficient nursing practice. Working under general supervision, the RN coordinates patient care via the nursing process and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and conditions to provide appropriate care.
• Develop individualized care plans based on medical history, diagnostics, and current status.
• Administer medications and treatments to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Reconcile medical records to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with care teams to optimize care planning.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• At least 1 year of RN experience; clinical specialty experience preferred.
• Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• BLS certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
