Emergency Department Nurse - Night Shift

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care as a registered nurse in a fast-paced emergency department, collaborating with physicians and medical staff to ensure seamless treatment and support for patients and families during urgent situations.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within nursing standards.
• Educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; participating in professional development.
• Developing and communicating individualized care plans with clear goals, ensuring continuity of care.
• Using critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Supporting a healing environment with patient and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN license required; Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 2+ years of experience.
• Experience in ER or EMT preferred.
• Ability to work in alertness and safety-sensitive conditions.
