About the Role

The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who supports the nurse manager in a clinical unit, aiming to develop leadership skills and contribute to clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supports staff recruitment, retention, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Assists in managing resources, budgets, and improving clinical and operational outcomes.
• Promotes team collaboration, communication, and a safe, patient-centered environment.
• Encourages evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and compliance with regulations.
• Participates in staff development, change management, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Supports professional growth through ongoing education and research engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
• RN licensure (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, mentoring, and leadership skills.
• Interest in nursing management, healthcare finance, and data-driven decision making.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in nursing administration.
