Emergency Department Clinical Nurse - Night Shift

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment, collaborating with physicians, staff, and families to ensure seamless treatment and support. The role focuses on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs while promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management and post-treatment needs.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.
• Participate in activities promoting safety, quality, and professional development.
• Work in a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness and safe practices.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No prior experience required; less than 2 years of experience preferred.
• ER or EMT experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, including weekends.
