Email Marketing Coordinator

Email Marketing

• Aid in executing email marketing campaigns, including strategy, segmentation, and testing
• Cultivate constituents for fundraising and volunteer engagement
• Create and send emails in HubSpot for newsletters, appeals, promotions, recruitment, and others
• Optimize KPIs like inbox deliverability and segment lists based on behaviors
• Guide staff in using Salesforce to send emails, creating templates as needed
• Resolve email-related issues in internal ticketing platform
• Maintain documentation and streamline processes

SMS Marketing

• Develop and manage SMS opt-in and engagement strategies
• Create and deliver SMS messages through HubSpot

Data Analysis

• Analyze email metrics to develop action plans for future campaigns
• Analyze SMS metrics to refine strategies

Industry Knowledge and Advancements

• Stay updated on marketing trends and recommend new tools
• Recommend new tools to enhance cultivation, engagement, and customization

Other Duties and Projects

• Support department and ministry needs as assigned

Must possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faith.

Desire to serve in a growing and dynamic Christian service ministry.

2+ years of experience with email marketing and data analysis.

Knowledge of HubSpot preferred; knowledge of Salesforce a plus.

Excellent interpersonal skills; professional ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal forms across all levels of management.

Must be detail oriented, committed to accuracy, and a team player who is flexible and able to work independently.

Must have a strong sense of confidentiality.

Strong general computer skills are necessary along with a competent, working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and the Internet.

Understanding of Christian ministry and specifically Joni and Friends is desirable.

Physical Requirements

• Mainly sedentary work in an office setting
• Occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching
• Occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds

Compensation

• $23.50 - $28.00 per hour
• Hybrid schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the office, remote on Wednesday and Friday

• Model Christian beliefs and practices during working hours and nonworking hours
• Support fellow staff and volunteers in following Christ
• Engage in the lives of people living with disabilities with love, dignity, and proclaim the gospel
• Participate or lead in prayer and worship during meetings, events, and outreaches
• Affirm the Joni and Friends Statement of Faith annually and not engage in any conduct or promote beliefs inconsistent with it
• Focus on Joni and Friends’ Mission and Vision through a commitment to its Values
• Attend a church with a statement of faith that does not contradict Joni and Friends’ Statement of Faith
