About the role

As an Elite Armed Security Officer - Part Time Store Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Security Professional, you will patrol a retail location, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail sales floor, entrances, loading areas, parking lots, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store management and first responders as needed.
• Document incidents, patrols, and security-related observations accurately and complete required reports.

Requirements

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$22.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 06:00 AM - 03:45 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:45 PM
