Security Officer Armed - Part Time Retail

About the role

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, parking areas, loading zones, perimeter, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the retail location, reporting security-related concerns and documenting incidents according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Maintain professional communication with store leadership, law enforcement, and emergency responders when requested or required.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must have an active Level III Armed Guard Card.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$15.50 / Hour

• Monday: 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Tuesday: 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
