We are a family-owned company that was built on traditional values and offers a stable and positive outlook with strong projected long-term growth.We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Electronic Technician to assist in our Service department. Job DescriptionThe position will perform a variety of functions that include, but are not limited to:Repair and Calibrate Test Systems.Clean and restore Test Systems and sub-assembliesTrouble-shoot Test Systems and Operational ProceduresProvide support to customers or representatives as requiredReview customers' requirements for specific product updates or modificationsService reports and Quotation preparationCoordinate various components and sub-assembly orders and stockAttend industry conferences and exhibitions as required. Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering plus two years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies. ORAssociate degree in Electronics technology or equivalent technical certificate plus 4 years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipCurrent Driver’s license.No relocation benefit is offered for this position. candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius.Strong interpersonal communication skills, team playerUnderstands and applies all electrical safety requirements.Microsoft Operating System Proficient, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook.Ability to analyze problems and determine action to be taken.Read and understand schematics and circuits.Able to troubleshoot down to component level.Familiarity with and ability to utilize different types of test equipment such as function generators, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and power supplies.Soldering/desoldering experience: through hole and surface mount.Ability to lift to 50 lbs.Strong knowledge of the following fundamental electrical concepts:Basic Electricity, Fundamentals AC/DC, Digital Electronics.Ability to work well with a team and the ability to work self-supervised Salary - Based on experience.
