About the role
We're looking for a Repair Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices. You'll work with a team to restore equipment to working condition while maintaining quality and productivity standards. Training is provided for the right candidate with a technical background.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electronic equipment such as: Barcode scanners, Mobile computers, POS (Point of Sale) systems, Printers and other electronic devices
- Replace faulty parts such as cables, connectors, fuses, and cosmetic components
- Update software and firmware on devices
- Use hand tools, soldering equipment (under supervision), and basic testing equipment
- Assemble and disassemble electronic devices
- Record completed repairs in the company system
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Follow safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- Technical experience repairing electronics or electro-mechanical equipment is preferred
- Experience with printers, kiosks, ATMs, mobile devices, or similar equipment is a plus
- An associate degree or 2-4 years of related experience is preferred (equivalent experience considered)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic testing equipment
- Able to read and follow written instructions
- Motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
