Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate, clear and concise documentation for equipment problems and failures, including but not limited to, work order completion in the work order program.
- Maintains electrical-related equipment and procedure documentation manuals and supplies this information to the supervisor.
- Responds to emergency situations, including disaster response, power outages, floods, etc. to limit effect on facilities.
- Demonstrates technical knowledge depth for electrical and associated systems according to standards established by management team.
- Can identify: types of electrical components, functionality and usage, types of electrical specific tools and how to use them, electrical specific materials and their application, basic math skills.
- Aids in, oversees and/or inspects repairs or modifications performed by contractors.
Qualifications
- Five (5) Years Electrician experience is required.
- One (1) Year Electrician experience in a Healthcare facility/environment is required.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Valid FL Driver's License upon hire.
- Ability to work various work shifts and/or weekends as needed.
- Ability to travel between other Moffitt Cancer Center facilities.
- Evidence of a good driving record and maintaining a good record per Moffitt policy.
- Requires current knowledge of various federal, state, local and CMS codes and regulations.
