Electrician II
Job Responsibilities
Performs highly skilled electrical duties required to maintain and repair campus-wide electrical systems.
Installs electrical equipment and remodels existing electrical services to support campus departments.
Performs duties as a lead worker and assumes responsibilities of the supervisor in his absence.
Requirements
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, other electrical documents and able to use a computer.
The ability to understand written and oral instructions, communicate effectively with faculty, staff, coworkers, vendors, and contractors.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include:
- Must have a valid electrician's license.
- Experience in electrical maintenance and installation.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
Skills
Must possess the following skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.

Salary range is commensurate with experience.
