Job Role
The Electrician Foreman manages electrical workflow on the shop floor, including task coordination, hands-on work, and safety enforcement. Reporting to the Director of Operations and VP of Manufacturing, this position contributes directly to production success and supports prefabrication efforts for field construction.
Requirements
- Licensed electrician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on electrical experience.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in an electrical or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of NEC and industrial electrical systems.
- Experience operating lifts, forklifts, and other shop equipment.
- Able to work at heights using fall protection and other safety equipment.
- Comfortable working in varying shop conditions (heat, cold, noise).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- This is a safety-sensitive position and requires regular drug testing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise).
- Must have the physical stamina to perform repetitive motions and remain on feet for most of the shift.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate tools accurately and safely.
Preferences
- Experience supporting fabrication teams in a manufacturing or construction setting.
- Willingness to support tasks in insulation, welding, or painting as needed.
- Interest in mentoring and cross-training team members.
