Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct a team of electricians and apprentices on industrial job sites or within a facility.
- Plan, schedule, and assign tasks to crew members based on project requirements.
- Cookordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA safety standards, and company policies.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to guide electrical installations and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues related to industrial equipment, motors, panels, and control systems.
- Manage inventory of tools, materials, and equipment, and ensure their proper use and maintenance.
- Conduct safety meetings, job hazard assessments, and ensure proper use of PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of junior electricians and apprentices.
- Complete job reports, timesheets, and other documentation accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of foreman experience in the electrical trade.
- Understanding of electric power engineering.
- Field experience coordinating with construction management.
