About the role

Kolb Electric, Inc. is seeking experienced Service and Service Project Electricians for their Washington DC servicing location. The company offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Work with schematics
  • Use hand tools, voltmeter, and ohmmeter
  • Manage low voltage systems and adhere to NEC regulations
  • Provide residential and commercial service electrician support
  • Read and interpret prints or schematics
  • Ensure safety and maintain accurate records
  • Interact cooperatively with fellow employees
  • Show leadership through action
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Perform basic code-compliant wiring and circuits
  • Handle site and LED lighting tasks

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years professional electrical experience
  • Professional license preferred (company will assist with acquisition)
  • Background and drug screen required
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Electrical experience, including familiarity with low voltage systems and NEC regulations
  • Previous experience in residential and/or commercial service electrician roles
  • Certified in basic code compliant wiring and circuits
  • Familiarity with site and LED lighting
  • Ability to interact cooperatively with colleagues
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities
  • Safe and conscientious work ethic
  • A neat personal and vehicle appearance
