About the Role

The Residential Electrician will maintain electrical systems in residential and small commercial buildings for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems, replace faulty wiring or components, and maintain existing electrical systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and prevent future breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Inspect and maintain electrical systems in homes and businesses.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in residential electrical work.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and installation techniques.
• Ability to use power tools and equipment effectively.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and technical documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in utility construction and work zone safety.
• Strong experience and knowledge in the installation of underground utilities, including gas, water, electric, and sewer.

• Must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This position may have light travel requirements.

Pay

Full-time: $29.08 - $32.12 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
