About the role
The Electrician I performs electrical assemblies, installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Layout conduit and lighting systems
- Analyze blueprints
- Ensure project accuracy
- Install motor feeders
- Maintain electrical systems per NEC standards
- Maintain safety standards
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives
- Manage materials efficiently
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and apprentices
- Collaborate effectively within a team
- Complete projects on time and within budget
- Participate in safety and training initiatives
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours)
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to work safely and adapt to varying shifts
- Strong teamwork and safety awareness
- Technical troubleshooting skills
