Electrician - Commercial/Industrial

About the Role

The Electrician I is responsible for electrical assemblies, installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within a manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes safety, technical expertise, teamwork, continuous improvement, and leadership development to support project and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Layout of conduit, lighting, control systems, and feeders
• Analyzing blueprints and ensuring project accuracy
• Maintaining safety standards and participating in safety audits
• Engaging in lean manufacturing practices and managing materials efficiently
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship
• Installing and troubleshooting electrical systems per NEC standards
• Completing projects safely, on time, and within budget
• Fostering teamwork and safety compliance

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours)
• Ability to read blueprints
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to OSHA and safety policies
• Proactive safety reporting
• Travel of 10-25%
• Flexible work hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
