Position
The Electrical Wireman Levels 1-4 positions involve assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, following NEC regulations, and using various tools.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Use various tools and equipment, such as power tools and testing devices.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and assist in diagnosing problems.
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards.
- Communicate issues, risks, or additional tasks to supervisors or licensed electricians.
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate safety gear during work.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
- Ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., ending, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, and pulling
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced electricians
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in electrical work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes preferred
- Effective communication skills for working with team members and supervisors
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads
- OSHA Certified Preferred - CSE will provide training if needed!
Pay Range
$18- $32 per Hour
