Responsibilities

  • Design and build electrical lab test fixtures, harnesses, and test equipment from engineer-defined requirements
  • Set up and execute electrical and functional lab tests; support debug activities; recognize abnormal results and escalate issues with supporting data
  • Assemble, solder, and rework PCBAs and prototypes for lab use
  • Operate and maintain lab instruments and tools used for tester development
  • Apply ESD, electrical safety practices, and engineering lab best practices consistently
  • Assemble and rework PCBAs and prototypes for lab testing, including soldering and component replacement
  • Select, quote, and order components needed for lab
  • Document test setups and results
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and test documentation

Requirements

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics/Electrical Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in an electrical lab, product development, or test environment
  • Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
  • PCBA assembly and soldering experience
  • Familiarity with common electrical test equipment; high-voltage (220–480 VAC) experience a plus

Pay

The salary range for this role is $62,000 - $92,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
