Electrical Test Technician

About the role

In this role, you will conduct testing and inspections during the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Each day, you will execute the assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines, and report any non-compliance. You will perform tests or checks by following procedures and instructions defined in manuals and test scripts. The work model for the role is onsite.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical pre-testing activities for newly developed products to ensure product quality and validate manufacturing processes.
• Assist the team in performing all required checks as part of the Factory Acceptance Testing process.
• Inspect and troubleshoot any identified issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate testing records, data, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality management systems.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of experience in the electrical industry.
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment in the Electrification market.
• Highly adept using calibrated meters, reading schematics, line diagrams, knowledge of electrical symbols, documenting data results, uploading software, and troubleshooting electrical components.
• Innovative around PDU, STS, UPS, testing at mid-range voltage levels, working with others, and critical thinking.
• Proficient in communicating in English.
