Harness Assembly
- Build, route, and install electrical harnesses, ensuring proper terminations, crimping, and soldering according to aerospace standards.
- Assist in the assembly and installation of electrical components, including connectors, circuit boards, and avionics systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate builds.
- Perform continuity tests, insulation resistance checks, and troubleshooting to verify harness integrity.
- Ensure all work meets industry and company quality standards, adhering to safety and aerospace regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to support system integration and problem-solving efforts.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in electrical harness assembly, wiring, or related field.
- Proficiency in crimping, soldering, and connector assembly.
- Strong understanding of cable routing, strain relief, and aerospace/automotive wiring standards.
- Hands-on experience using tools such as wire strippers, heat shrink tubing, and torque wrenches.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience working in aerospace, aviation, or high-tech manufacturing.
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or similar (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, continuity testers, etc.).
- Ability to adapt and troubleshoot in a dynamic R&D environment.
