Responsibilities

  • Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
  • Participate in design reviews and design FMEA’s.
  • Assist with vendor investigation of root cause analysis for failed components.
  • Contribute to lessons learned methodology and continuous process improvement.
  • Provides technical guidance and design direction to CAD Analysts.
  • Demonstrates teamwork and communicates effectively.
  • Develops documents and achieves product specifications for customers, regulatory, and technical requirements.
  • Deliver project work to time, cost, and quality.
  • Develops individual goals/objectives to support the department goals.
  • Persists in developing individual goals/objectives to support the department goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Required (ABET Accredited)
  • 2+ years’ experience in electrical engineering, electronic systems and/or New product Development NPD or Sustaining Product Development (SPD) experience
  • General knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) Standards is a plus
  • Knowledge of any of the following a plus: MATLAB, PSPICE, Simulink, OrCAD, C, C++, Python

Pay

The Salary range for this position is $83,300.00-$105,200.00. The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
