Electrical Systems Assembler II

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily physical assembly tasks as an Electrical Systems Integrator I.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of wiring practices across all platforms.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
  • Inspect electrical panels, subassemblies, and interconnect wiring for quality.
  • Verify completion of all required documentation, including panel logs, checklists, and other quality documents.
  • Test and troubleshoot system power-up, main safety circuits, and general I/O.
  • Interface with other departments to complete builds on schedule and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics.
  • Wire electrical sub-assemblies into modules and integrate modules prior to final test.
  • Act as lead during UL, CE, and ETL inspections when required.
  • Assist in training new employees on shop floor wiring and quality practices.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned, regardless of department.

Requirements

  • 2-year technical degree, military equivalent, or three to five years of related experience (semiconductor experience preferred).
  • Knowledgeable in AC/DC control circuits and systems, including System Control Circuits, Safety Circuits, Motor and Heater Control Circuits, Robotic Systems, Pneumatic Control, and PLC/PC Control-Based systems.
  • Experienced with Codes and Standards such as NEC, NFPA 70 and 79, and UL508A.
  • Knowledgeable of electrical safety hazards and proper labeling/protection requirements.
  • Ability to understand and operate within safety guidelines and assist others in doing the same.
  • Must work effectively in a highly functioning team environment.
  • Display high levels of honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Communicate openly and strive for peak performance in daily tasks.
  • Deliver the quality service RENA’s customers expect.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Standard production/manufacturing environment. Work involves extended periods of standing, occasional walking, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
