Electrical Assembler II

About the role

The setup operator ensures continuous electronic manufacturing by preparing, loading, and staging component reels onto feeders and pick-and-place carts, minimizing line downtime and preventing placement errors.

Responsibilities

• Accurately load components per BOM and setup sheets.
• Verify part details and prepare feeders for upcoming jobs.
• Inspect and maintain feeders to ensure proper function.
• Manage materials from stock and stage them for production.
• Adhere to ESD guidelines and safety procedures.
• Support production flow, ensure component accuracy, and maintain equipment.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of electronic components.
• Ability to interpret assembly drawings and setup instructions.
• Comfort with basic computer systems.

Qualifications

Preferred experience includes 1-3 years in electronics manufacturing or similar fast-paced environments, with proficiency in ERP/MES software.
