The Electricians, LLC is a family-owned electrical contractor serving customers across Colorado. We are expanding our residential service division and seek an experienced Electrical Service Manager to lead technicians, enhance department performance, uphold workmanship standards, and foster a high-accountability service culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the residential electrical service department.
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, and mentor electricians and apprentices.
- Conduct regular ride-alongs, coaching sessions, field evaluations, and performance reviews.
- Ensure technicians provide exceptional customer service and maintain high-quality workmanship.
- Monitor department performance, including revenue, profitability, conversion rates, average ticket, callback rate, warranty work, customer satisfaction, and technician productivity.
- Schedule and coordinate workloads to maximize efficiency and meet customer demand.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes, safety requirements, and company standards.
- Address customer concerns and resolve escalated service issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with dispatch, customer service, warehouse, leadership, and field teams to ensure smooth department operations.
- Develop and implement processes that improve productivity, quality control, communication, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct team meetings, technical training, sales training, and ongoing coaching.
- Review job quality, callbacks, warranty work, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports on key performance indicators and present department results to leadership.
- Help create a culture of accountability, professionalism, clean workmanship, and customer-first service.
- Support pricing, job documentation, material management, and service process improvements.
- Ensure company policies, safety practices, and service standards are followed consistently.
Required Qualifications
- Active Journeyman/Residential Wireman license or Master Electrician license.
- 5+ years of residential/commercial service electrical experience.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience in an electrical service environment.
- Strong understanding of residential electrical troubleshooting, panel work, service upgrades, lighting, circuits, code requirements, and customer-facing service work.
- Ability to coach technicians on technical performance, customer communication, options presentation, and job execution.
- Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using scheduling software and service management platforms such as ServiceTitan or similar systems.
- Ability to read and interpret department KPIs and take action based on performance data.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Professional appearance and communication style.
- Able to work in a fast-paced service environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Colorado Master Electrician license.
- Experience managing a residential electrical service department.
- Experience with ServiceTitan.
- Experience building technician training programs.
- Experience managing revenue, gross margin, average ticket, conversion rate, customer satisfaction, and callback metrics.
- Experience with memberships, service agreements, financing, and customer options.
- Strong recruiting and technician development background.
- Experience helping apprentices grow into licensed electricians.
Bonus Potential
This position offers a competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus opportunities. Target Compensation may include a base salary of $65,000–$120,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Monthly or quarterly performance bonuses are based on department results. Bonus opportunities are tied to revenue growth, gross margin, customer satisfaction, callback reduction, technician productivity, team development, and operational performance. Additional incentive opportunities may be available for recruiting, retention, training milestones, membership growth, or department profitability. Final compensation will be based on license level, leadership experience, residential service background, and proven ability to manage people and performance.

Schedule
Full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule. Occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call support may be required based on department needs. Field ride-alongs, team meetings, and job-site visits are required.
