About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Service Manager to lead our service team, ensuring high-quality electrical service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of service technicians, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Ensure all service work meets the highest quality standards, adhering to industry best practices and manufacturer specifications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all safety regulations and protocols, as well as compliance with relevant laws and codes.
- Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effectiveness.
- Plan, schedule, and dispatch service calls to technicians for efficient resource allocation and timely client response.
- Manage and implement on-call rotations, ensuring technicians are prepared.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to gather on-site information, provide technical feedback, and coordinate replacement projects.
- Drive consistent growth by selling new maintenance contracts and service accounts.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations, and provide training opportunities for technicians.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of commercial electrical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- 3-5 years of Electrical Service Manager experience.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective interaction with clients, technicians, and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in electrical software, scheduling tools, and computer applications.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and compliance requirements.
- Business acumen and a results-oriented mindset to achieve departmental goals and financial targets.
Pay
$100,000–$115,000/year, depending on experience.
