Electrical Project Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager for a well-established electrical contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Commercial Electrical Construction and provide overall leadership throughout the project lifecycle. You will oversee projects from preconstruction through completion, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the entire project life cycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Monitor and control project budgets, costs, and expenditures.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing according to plans and specifications.
- Prepare and present project status reports to clients and company leadership.
- Address and resolve project-related issues, conflicts, and changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
