Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all project team members including Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Field Office Coordinators.
- Mentor, develop, and train team members for fast-paced growth.
- Demonstrate understanding and enthusiastic agreement with the vision and mission of EIG.
- Show detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.
- Manage cost control, billings, and collections for assigned projects.
- Act as the key point of contact with owners and architects.
- Challenge and support jobsite and self-perform work teams.
- Ensure project completion and financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction results.
Requirements
- Flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to create and support team morale.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, accounting cost management software, and scheduling software.
- A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems.
- Complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with running multiple complex, highly technical projects preferably within core markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of Project Management within Electrical Commercial Construction.
