Electrical Project Manager

Location: Kansas City, MO

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 (based on experience)

About the role

The Electrical Project Manager will lead project teams, coordinate design-build and electrical contractor activities, manage budgets, schedules, forecasting and change orders, and serve as the primary client and field contact from pre-construction through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial electrical projects start to finish
• Control budgets, forecasting, and cost tracking
• Coordinate procurement and just-in-time material delivery
• Lead field teams, subs, vendors, and client communication
• Negotiate and execute change orders
• Enforce safety and code compliance
• Run meetings and report to stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years managing electrical projects, including $5M+ jobs
• Strong grasp of electrical systems, codes, and construction processes
• Skilled in risk management, change orders, and procurement
• Proficient in Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, MS Office
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• PMP certification a plus
