Electrical Project Manager

Essential Job Functions

• Identifies labor, material, and the time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Resolves discrepancies by gathering and analyzing information.
• Communicates with the project team, project contractors, and prime contractors for purpose of coordination.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of projects.
• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
• Works to establish, adjust, and maintain work sequences to meet the schedule for a given project.
• Reviews contract documents, construction plans and specifications.
• Interacts effectively with clients, inspectors, field workforce.
• Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines.
• Reports status and variances.
• Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
• Implements change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Experienced in estimating software such as Accubid or McCormick.
• Identify, understand and meet project schedule deliverables.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
