Electrical Install Lead
An Electrical Installation Lead for Toyota Automated Logistics is a hands-on position focusing on the installations of large- and small-scale conveyors, robotic, automation, and commercial electrical systems. This role requires proven installation and leadership abilities, flexibility, and a commitment to maintaining project schedules, material and production management, and electrical code enforcement. Continuous travel to client sites is required for the installation of material handling systems.
Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable in National Electric Code (NEC) and works to minimize violations of electrical code.
- Perform or assist in electrical installation work, including conduit bending, wire pulling, terminating, and troubleshooting.
- Train Installation Journeymen and Technicians.
- Lead site and personnel safety initiatives and meet safety training requirements.
- Responsible for meeting schedule demands and site production.
- Respond to the needs of project management.
- Coordinate cost-effective travel for project labor management.
- Coach team members effectively.
- Safely delegate tasks assigned by the Electrical Supervisor in a timely manner and up to quality standards.
- Manage and approve expense reports.
- Approve timesheets in ADP and D365 for Journeymen and Technicians.
- Assist in annual performance reviews for direct reports.
Requirements
- High School or GED.
- 3+ years of relevant experience with demonstrated leadership capability.
- Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safety measures on jobsites.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Possess hand tools.
- Eligible to work in the USA long-term without sponsorship.
- Up to 90% travel, with a minimum of 3 weeks at a time.
