Electrical Foreman / Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Dispatches all service work orders and projects
• Prepares daily schedule
• Communicates with both internal and external customers providing instructions to the Technicians, estimated work time, material and equipment needs, and customer reporting requirements
• Provides follow up with Technicians to provide timely responses and completion of all work orders and projects
• Communicates with Technicians while on-site on any potential issues or problems
• Communicates with Electrical Inspectors & BGE
• Assists Technicians in troubleshooting over the phone
• Prepares estimates
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the NEC
• Extensive knowledge of the BGE process
• Extensive knowledge of the permitting process
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner
• Ability to multitask (using several screens and browsers simultaneously, talking on the phone while navigating the system)
• Ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency and complete them in a timely and professional manner
• Ability to comprehend, summarize, edit, and paraphrase data
• Ability to browse the internet and use internal systems and websites for our customers
• Ability to use office equipment (i.e., fax, phone, scanner, copier, mail)
