Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) - New Graduate
About the role
Wiley|Wilson, a 100% employee-owned architecture and engineering firm, is seeking an Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join their Electrical Engineering team in the Lynchburg, VA office. The ideal candidate will work alongside experienced engineers designing electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting, for a variety of projects and clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical plans and designs
- Perform load calculations
- Apply relevant codes and standards
- Prepare and review technical documentation
- Contribute to field investigations and testing
- Collaborate with architects and other engineering professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam by the start date
- Revit experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid work ethic and eagerness to learn
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
