About the role
Wiley|Wilson, a 100% employee-owned architecture and engineering firm, is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join their Civil Engineering team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will work on site design and stormwater management projects for Local, Federal, and State Government clients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare calculations, reports, and design drawings
- Aid in site design and stormwater management
- Participate in field investigations
- Perform research related to project design
- Contribute to quantity take-offs and cost estimates
- Collaborate with engineers and other design professionals across multiple disciplines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam by start date
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid work ethic and eagerness to learn
- Interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
