About the role

Williams International is seeking an Electrical Assembler, Testing for their 3rd shift (10:00pm - 6:30am) position. This role involves assembling and testing complex fuel control units for gas turbine engines.

Responsibilities

  • Complete FCU testing utilizing the Testek benches.
  • Follow manufacturing planning for instructions and inspection requirements.
  • Load software to electrical control assemblies.
  • Complete and maintain accurate and reliable documentation.
  • Verify dimensions and or performance using standard measuring instruments.
  • Use a variety of hand tools, shears, drills, and other items to be used in testing and assembly.
  • Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience with machining and electrical testing.
  • 1 year using precision tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read and assemble parts from manufacturing planning instructions.
  • Ability to perform detailed work requiring fine motor skills.
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds from floor to height of 25 inches, capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, have a grip strength of at least 50 pounds and be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum).
