3rd shift Assembler

Job Summary

Design Ready Controls is seeking a skilled Assembler I to join our production team. This role involves performing various tasks related to the manufacturing of custom control panels, including basic wiring, sheet metal assembly, component assembly, and setup.

General Responsibilities

• Verify parts for assembly match the Bill of Materials
• Assemble electrical panels according to drawings
• Terminate wire ends and add terminals as needed
• Prepare panels for testing and shipping
• Troubleshoot basic panel wiring and look for potential electrical issues
• Identify and implement process improvement measures
• Maintain a safe and efficient work area
• Participate in training measures as assigned
• Champion company core values

Required Skills and Abilities

• Use a computer to access job documentation and personal records
• Read contrasting colors and correctly identify wire size
• Use basic measurement tools and perform basic math
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Show strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Show personal integrity, a drive to learn, a teamwork mentality, and safety and customer focus

Physical Requirements

• Use hands to cut, strip, crimp, bend, and terminate wires
• Use hand tools, table-top tools, drills, torque tools, and bandsaw
• Stand on feet or walk for 1-2 hours per shift
• Lift up to 10-25 lbs. frequently and up to 50-85 lbs. in team lift

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay: $19.00 - $22.00 DOE + $1.50 p/h shift differential
