About the role
The Larimer County Clerk & Recorder Elections division offers an outstanding opportunity for a rewarding job in the ever-changing, always engaging field of Election Administration. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with possible variation based on operational needs, especially in the weeks leading up to and including Election Day.
Responsibilities
- Assists with general office tasks, including copying, scanning, organizing, and mail preparation.
- Inputs, updates, and maintains information within a database or spreadsheet.
- Verifies data accuracy, audits records, and ensures data security and confidentiality.
- Answers phones and assists with front desk duties, including answering routine questions and inquiries regarding the elections process and voter registration; directs callers and visitors to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Assists with preparation, coordination, and support for Election Judge training/facilitation.
- Assists with set-up and preparation for vote centers.
- Maintains confidential voter information.
What We're Looking For
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Larimer County Elections Department in serving voters.
- Work in a temporary office role supporting the 2026 Primary Election and 2026 General Election, with assignments before, during, and after each election.
- Primarily work from the Larimer County Elections Office.
- Respond to voter and public inquiries by phone with professionalism and excellent customer service.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain election-related records.
- Assist with specialized administrative and operational tasks, which may include:
- Supporting Election Judge training and coordination.
- Assisting with election logistics and technical operations.
- Supporting Voter Service and Polling Center operations.
- Adapt to changing priorities and perform a variety of election support duties to help ensure accurate and efficient election processes.
Qualifications
- Possession of voter's registration in the State of Colorado within one (1) week of hire required.
- No convictions of election fraud or any other election offenses required.
