EFT Specialist - Card Services

Responsibilities

• Aid in managing debit and credit card activity, including monitoring transactions, resolving exceptions, and supporting reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy.
• Play a key role in fraud detection and prevention - monitor trends, prepare reports, and work closely with internal teams and external partners to address suspicious activity.
• Process and manage card disputes, including issuing credits, communicating with members, and coordinating chargebacks with vendors as needed.
• Support a variety of transaction processing tasks - including wires, ACH files, and card-related functions - while serving as a backup for other item processing areas when needed.
• Contribute to projects, assist with card reissues, and help maintain efficient workflows across the EFT and card services functions.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six months' experience in a financial institution required.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
