Card Services Specialist

About the role

The Card Services Specialist serves as a key representative of all areas within Card Services, including both credit and debit card servicing. This role delivers exceptional support through multiple servicing platforms (Visa DPS, Falcon, Symitar, Velera, and Salesforce) and acts as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to front-line staff and resolving member inquiries efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary point of contact for all aspects of credit and debit card servicing, including answering phones, assisting callers with questions/issues, processing service ticket events within set SLAs, and responding to department emails.
• Research and balance several department general ledger (GL) accounts.
• Serve as a backup to others within the department to ensure critical functions are completed in a timely manner.
• Assist management with projects, process improvement design, and testing.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of financial services experience, including assisting members with debit and credit card servicing.
• Experience in credit and debit card operations and regulations is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in a business-related field is preferred.
