Job Description
The Neurodiagnostic Tech I at Northwestern Medicine plays a crucial role in the healthcare team, focusing on EEGs and LTMEs to study epilepsy and localize brain lesions. This position requires a high level of clinical competence and attention to detail.
Responsibilities

- Accurately enters patient demographic information and pertinent history into the recording system.
- During recording, provides timely, accurate, complete, and legible documentation.
- Scans patient data appropriately, archives data, and recalls data as needed.
- Seeks out and obtains clinical learning opportunities and enhances clinical skills.
- May participate in continuing education events to stay updated on the latest practices and technologies.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- At least one year experience in performing EEGs.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire, BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
