EDM Library & Design Solution Architect
About the role
This role involves developing design methodologies to leverage Siemens EDA Xpedition products. You will consult and present to customers on how these tools can enhance their leading-edge technology designs, identify gaps in their design flows, and drive efficiencies towards meeting their Time-To-Market goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate design methodologies using Siemens EDA Xpedition tools.
- Consult and present to customers on how Siemens EDA Xpedition tools can improve their technology designs.
- Identify gaps in customer design flows and suggest ways to increase their design capabilities.
- Drive efficiencies in customer development flows to meet Time-To-Market goals.
- Liaise with the EBS product division, particularly in advanced development, customizations, development, and maintenance of CLS generated applications.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge in PCB HW Development Methodology.
- Strong knowledge in SW development.
- Strong knowledge in EDM design & library methodology, tools, and design flow.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, programming, and trouble-shooting skills.
- Experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, VBScript).
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a strong engineering background.
- Master's degree preferred.

- Strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively.

Pay
Competitive salary range: 146,700 - 293,400 (depending on experience)
