EDM Library & Design Solution Architect

About the role

This role involves developing design methodologies to leverage and expand the use of Siemens EDA Xpedition products. The candidate will work with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance customer capabilities and drive efficiencies in their design processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop design methodologies leveraging Siemens EDA Xpedition tools to optimize leading-edge technologies in customer designs.
• Consult and present to customers, articulating how Siemens EDA Xpedition tools can help them maximize performance and meet their Time-To-Market (TTM) goals.
• Identify gaps in customer design flows and propose solutions to improve design capability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with EBS product division, particularly in advanced development, customizations, and maintenance of CLS-generated applications used in advanced processes.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge in PCB HW Development Methodology.
• Strong knowledge in SW development.
• Strong knowledge in EDM design & library methodology, tools, and design flow.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, programming, and trouble-shooting skills.
• Experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition tools.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, VBScript.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a strong engineering background.
• Master's degree preferred.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Competitive salary range: 146,700 - 293,400
